Hello and welcome to the world of your private photographer in Japan!
My name is Arthur Boulissiere, and I am a professional photographer, (写真家) shashin ka in japanese, but also an enthusiast whose goal is to capture the emotion and intensity of the most precious moments of your life, whether in your daily routine or during your trip to Japan. That is why, since I began my career as a photographer in 2023, I have been offering my expertise for all your photography projects throughout Japan, in the Kansai region, in the prefectures and cities of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara, including portraits, family photos, couple photos, maternity photos, and photos of your beloved four-legged companions (dogs, cats, horses, etc). I also specialize in fashion and other professional or unique photography.
I conduct photo sessions experiences in traditional kimono and yukata in Nara or Kyoto, in various locations such as Gion street with geisha, the Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and many others, all to help you fully experience Japanese culture.
I would be delighted to meet with you to help capture the authenticity and emotion of every moment. These photos will tell your story and be cherished for generations to come, passing from you to your children, and then to your grandchildren. To achieve this, photo sessions in Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara and their surrounding areas can be held both indoors and outdoors (in the city or in nature). Additional Information
Every photo shoot includes the sorting and delivery of hundreds of raw photos for your keepsakes. If you’d like, you can also opt for an additional service: post-processing and retouching of the photos you’ve selected. This extra work takes several days, after which the enhanced photos will be available in the same private online gallery as the raw photos, to which only you will have access, about a week after our session.
More complex photography projects, on the other hand, will take up to a month to be completed.
Little gift, no travel fees if you book any photo shoot experience held in the prefectures and cities of Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, as well as in neighboring cities such as Sakai, Amagasaki, Toyonaka, Takatsuki, Higashiōsaka, Izumi, Minoh, Ikeda, Habikino, Wakayama, Kobe, and many others.

How many people are allowed in a photo shoot experience in Japan?
Strictly speaking, there are no limits. Whether you’re alone, a couple, a family, or a group of friends, I’ll be happy to welcome you in any case. Everyone will have their place in front of my camera!
How and where can I book a photo shoot experience in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara ?
There are two ways to schedule an appointment in the Kansai area: First, you can book a photo shoot online directly on this page above. Or you can send me a message using the contact form below or on my Instagram and Facebook.
How long will it take for the photos to be delivered?
For standard photo sessions (portraits, maternity, family, pets), raw photos are delivered within 3 days of the session; for retouched photos, please allow about a week for processing. However, for more complex photography projects, please allow about a month for each selected photo to be perfectly retouched.
In what format will the photos be delivered?
After the photo shoot, you will receive all the photos taken in an online folder. At this stage, you may choose, if you wish, to have a few photos sent for post-processing and retouching. You will then receive your enhanced photos in digital format via the same private folder accessible exclusively to you and your loved ones.
You can download them and enjoy seeing your beautiful smiles.
What happens if it rains during the photo shoot?
During our very first call or email exchange, we’ll agree on two dates together. This approach gives us the flexibility to reschedule the photo shoot for the second date if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
